TV News Agents OTA Talent Hires Tara Mergener as a Broadcast Talent Agent

Mergener is an award-winning journalist who spent the majority of her career as a network correspondent. She worked at CBS Newspath for many years, reporting for all CBS platforms, including CBS News and CBS affiliates throughout the nation. Mergener also reported at CNN, Hearst’s Washington, D.C. Bureau and was a contributor on Full Court Press with Greta Van Susteren.
She has won dozens of awards for her investigative and political reporting, including Headliner Foundation’s Best Reporter in Texas, multiple Edward R. Murrow awards, Texas Associated Press Broadcasters awards and an Emmy. She has traveled the country covering some of the biggest stories of our generation.
After her national reporting made Mergener a household name, she moved to a primary anchor position in Texas, anchoring three dominant number one evening newscasts and leading the station’s investigative, political and national reporting.
